PRESIDENT ILHAM ALIYEV RECEIVED CHAIRMAN OF BUNDESTAG FOREIGN POLICY
COMMITTEE

On the same day, President Ilham Aliyev received Head of the
Bundestag Foreign Policy Committee Folker Ruhe.

During the meeting held in a warm and sincere atmosphere, President
Ilham Aliyev and Chairman Folker Ruhe exchanged views on the
situation in the Southern Caucasus, elimination of the
Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and security issues,
and noted the importance of expanding interparliamentary cooperation
between the two countries.

President Ilham Aliyev, for his part, told of the hard consequences
of the Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, and the efforts
by Azerbaijan for the problem to be solved fairly in the framework of
the basic principles of the international law.
