Jehovah’s Witness jailed in Karabakh for dodging draft

[Presenter over video of courtroom] Stepanakert’s first instance
court on 16 February sentenced Areg Ovanesyan, a NKR [Nagornyy
Karabakh Republic] citizen and a Jehovah’s Witness, to four years’
imprisonment under Article 327 Part 3 of the NKR Criminal Code for
dodging military service.
