Armenian president, Yerevan mayor discuss town planning issues

today met Yerevan’s mayor, Yervand Zakharyan. Yervand Zakharyan and
the president discussed two main issues – transport and town planning.

The mayor informed the president that more than 50 Bogdan buses will
be delivered to Yerevan within 10 days. The city authorities were
instructed to provide Yerevan with about 500 big buses by the end of
the year in order to ensure comfortable transportation of citizens.

The sides also discussed work to improve the streets of the capital.

[Yervand Zakharyan] We have sufficiently extensive programmes to
implement in Yerevan. As you know, the Northern Avenue is under
construction in Yerevan. I discussed the pace of the construction work
with the president.
