“RUSSIA NEVER IMPOSED EMBARGO”

“Khushchev got angry with the Chinese and we fell behind with 25
years”, member of the Federation Council of the RF Nikolay Ryzhkov
said when answering a journalist’s question whether Russia can impose
embargo against Georgia.
Russia has never imposed embargo against any country, he said adding
that in case of imposing embargo on Georgia Armenia will suffer as
Russia keeps in touch with Armenia via Georgia.
Nikolay Ryzhkov criticized the policy pursued by Mikhail
Saakashvili. “He is young and emotional political figure. Bushes
come and go while Georgia should live in peace with its neighbors”,
he noted.
