Baku, May 19, AssA-Irada

Chief-of-Staff of the Russian air force Yuri Baluyevski does not rule
out that a part of the machinery of Russian bases may be transferred
from Georgia to Armenia.

“Military bases will be transferred to the territory of the Russian
Federation. But a part of the property and machinery may be transferred
to Armenia.”

Baluyevski said that the move will allow to reduce the timeframe for
the pullout of Russian bases from Georgian territory from 10-11 years
to just four.

Abkhazia and South Ossetia stated a few days ago that they are ready
to station Russian bases in their territories.*
