Minsk OSCE group hopes for progress in Azerbaijan-Armenia talks

WARSAW, May 16 — The co-chairmen of the Minsk OSCE group on Nagorno
Karabakh “hope for further progress in the direct dialogue between
Azerbaijan and Armenia,” spokesman for the Russian Foreign Ministry
Alexander Yakovenko told Itar-Tass on Monday.
The co-chairmen of the Minsk OSCE group met with the presidents of
Azerbaijan and Armenia in Warsaw on Sunday evening, he pointed out.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, French Foreign Minister Michel
Barnier, representatives of the United States and the OSCE took part
in the meeting. After that the presidents of Azerbaijan and Armenia
had a tete-a-tete meeting.
