Armenia ratifies CIS accord on joint use of military infrastructure

YEREVAN

The Armenian parliament today ratified the agreement on the rapid
provision of equipment and joint use of military infrastructure
facilities in the member states of the Collective Security Treaty
Organization [CSTO].

The document determines the commitments of the sides in the joint use
of military infrastructure facilities, Armenian Defence Minister Serzh
Sarkisyan said.

The agreement envisages that the sides will draw up and submit for
approval by the CSTO a list of military infrastructure facilities for
joint use by the coalition troops, provide each other with tactical
and technical data of infrastructure facilities and exchange
information about them.
