10 INSTEAD OF 131

The reading of the annual report of the Standing Committee on
Financial-Credit, Budgetary and Economic Affairs was held in an almost empty
hall. One independent deputy, 2 deputies representing Orinats Yerkir Party,
three deputies of the Republican Party of Armenia and three representatives
of People’s Deputy party.

Before proceeding to the reports the parliament voted on the issues that
were discussed yesterday. 88 registered deputies have voted in favor of
almost all the bills and hurried to leave.

By the way, the deputies are going to hold a special sitting, during which
the report of the temporary commission on the investigation of the
efficiency of using the loans, credits, grants and humanitarian aid
allocated by foreign states will be presented. In the opinion of independent
deputy Manuk Gasparyan, it is much easier to discuss issues during a special
sitting, which is summoned by President’s order, consequently it will be
easier `to fill in the hall’.
