AZERI [sic] FM: AZERBAIJAN UNABLE TO RESORT TO HOSTILITIES

/PanARMENIAN.Net/ `I have not heard yet for the opposition press to forecast
the victory at the election to the team of the incumbent president of the
ruling party,’ Nagorno Karabakh Foreign Minister Arman Melikian stated, when
commenting on publications in the Azeri press that the team of the Azeri
President will lose and they will have to launch a war in Nagorno Karabakh
to avoid it. In his words, the press always states the opposition will win.
`In my opinion I. Aliyev’s team will not stand a defeat. However, if there
is a danger of that, I do not think Azerbaijan can resort to hostilities,’
Arman Melikian summed up, reported Regnum news agency.
