PM Has No Fear of Misunderstandings During Hrazdan Mayoral Elections

RA PRIME MINISTER HAS NO FEAR THAT MISUNDERSTANDINGS TO HAPPEN DURING
HRAZDAN MAYOR’S ELECTIONS

YEREVAN, MAY 27, NOYAN TAPAN. On May 27, city Mayor’s elections will
be held in Hrazdan. Two candidates struggle for the Mayor’s post: Aram
Danielian, the acting Mayor, a Republican party member, and
non-partizan Artur Shaboyan, the Director of Hrazdan School #12.
According to publications of some media, a rather tense situation is
created in the pre-electoral circle. Particularly, conflicts took
place among the candidates’ supporters, as a result of which two men
were taken to hospital with injuries. Responding the Noyan Tapan
correspondent’s question, Andranik Margarian, the RA Prime Minister,
the RPA Council Chairman mentioned that he has no fear that
misunderstandings will take place on the elections’ day in Hrazdan. “I
believe they will be wise and will not create difficulties for a
Mayor’s post,” he said.
