TIGRAN KHZMALIAN IS TO SHOOT NEW DOCUMENTARY FILM “ARMENIA IN 20TH
CENTURY”
YEREVAN, MAY 27, NOYAN TAPAN. Film Director Tigran Khzmalian, with a
working group of two-three persons, is going to shoot “Armenia in 20th
Century” a new 10-parts documentary film. As the director informed the
Noyan Tapan correspondent the film will be dedicated to culture,
policy, economy of that period of Armenia’s history. Each part will be
dedicated to the most important events of separate decates. Tigran
Khzmalian informed that scenarios of the film’s some parts are already
ready. He hopes that the film will be presented to spectators in a
half and a year. Besides, the director also has scenarios of
three-four feature films works of which can be started any moment, and
as the “Yerevan” studio is “close” for him, and the fate the “Hayfilm”
studio is not clear yet, he will attempt “on his personal initiative
to seek for opportunities abroad.” “If it does not succeed, either, I
shall change my profession,” Tigran Khzmalian stated.
