SYSTEM OF A DOWN SLATED TO PLAY WINNIPEG SEPT. 22
System of a Down are planning to mesmerize Winnipeggers.
The Armenian-American avant-metal band will play the MTS Centre Sept.
22 in support of their new album, Mezmerize, House of Blues Canada
announced yesterday.
Tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. for $39.50, $47.50 and $55.50 at
Ticketmaster.
System of a Down will be joined by The Mars Volta, featuring ex At
the Drive-In members Omar Rodriguez-Lopez and Cedric Bixler-Zavala,
and Bad Acid Trip.
BACKSTREET BOYS TICKETS GO ON SALE
The boys are coming back to town.
As previously reported, the reformed Backstreet Boys will perform at
the MTS Centre on Sept. 7.
Yesterday ticket prices were released, with ducats going on sale
Monday at 10 a.m. for $37.50, $55.50 and $75.50.
