Ilham Aliyev: “Fair elections shold be held in Azerbaijan”

2005 assumes special importance for Azerbaijan.
The construction of the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan main export oil pipeline
will complete and this will be a tear of parliamentary elections,
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said while his appeal to residents
of Agdash on Thursday.
According to Aliyev, it is necessary to hold fair and transparent
parliamentary elections, as well as providing equal conditions in
Baku and in the region in this connection. “The people of Azerbaijan
are wise and will make a right choice. I feel support of the nation,”
Aiyev underlined. He noted that the role of the youth in the
establishment of future Azerbaijan.
President assured that necessary facilities will be offered in the
country for receiving a qualified education.
Touching upon the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict over Nagorno-Karabakh
the head of state said that noted that the talks on peaceable
resolution of the conflict continues and definite progress has been
achieved in this respect.
The President assured everyone that the territorial integrity of
Azerbaijan will be restored and refugees will return to their native
lands. “Our key objective to establish powerful country, strong
economy and strong army,” Aliyev stressed.
