NKR MINISTER OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS: NAGORNO-KARABAKH DOESN’T NEED PEACEKEEPING FORCES

YEREVAN, July 21. /ARKA/. Nagorno-Karabakh doesn’t need peacekeeping
forces, as NKR Minister of Foreign Affairs Arman Melikyan stated at a
press-conference in Yerevan. According to him, such is the official
position of the NKR authorities to send peacekeeping forces to NKR
from the Ukraine “NKR has high defense potential and we are able to
solve our problems ourselves”, he said. Melikyan highly evaluated
the mission of the OSCE Co-Chairs. “The Co-Chairs do very useful and
active work”, he said. According to him, the possibility to settle
the conflict only by Armenia or Azerbaijanis not high, so the role
of the OSCE is very decisive. A.H. –0–
