27% OF RUSSIA’S POPULATION RECOGNIZES ROBERT KOCHARIAN

The Russian mass media made public the results of a recent public
opinion poll in the country. According to Radio Liberty, the most
recognizable presidents of CIS states are the heads of Ukraine and
Byelorussia. 85 percent of Russian citizens knows Alexander Lukashenko
and 76 percent recognized Victor Yushenko. Most renowned South
Caucasian president in Russia is Azeri President Ilham Aliyev with 54
percent in his favor. 47 percent of respondents recognized President
Mikheil Saakashvili of Georgia. Armenian President Robert Kocharian
was recognized by only 27 percent of Russians.
