Protest against Turkey’s EU bid take place in Prague and Vilnius

YEREVAN (YERKIR) – A demonstration against Turkey’s entry to the
European Union was staged in Prague today by the Voice for Europe
international civic initiative, Armenpress reported.
A similar demonstration was staged in the Lithuanian capital, Vilnius,
on Thursday. The demonstrators carried posters reading “Lithuanians
are against Turkey’s joining the EU.”
Since May, the Voice for Europe has been collecting signatures for a
petition against Turkey’s EU entry in several European Union
countries, including the Czech Republic.
So far, about 30,000 people have signed the petition, including 11,000
from the Czech Republic.
