President Saakashvili on unofficial visit to Armenia

President Mikheil Saakashvili left for Armenia on Sunday for an
unofficial visit. According to the press service of the State
Chancellery of Georgia, the president will hold an unofficial meeting
with Armenian President Robert Kocharian at the presidential
residence near Lake Sevan.

Two presidents plan to discuss prospects to deepen of mutual
relations and settlement of the problems in South Caucasus, Prime
News reports.

The agency states that there is unofficial information that minister
of defence Irakli Okruashvili is visiting Armenia as well but the
ministry’s press service has denied those reports. The president of
Georgia will return Monday.
