Diplomatic appointment
Anthony Cantor has been appointed Ambassador to the Republic of
Armenia, in succession to Miss Thorhilda Abbott-Watt, who will be
transferring to another Diplomatic Service appointment. Mr Cantor,
59, is a former Ambassador in Asuncion and deputy consul-general in
Osaka. He will take up his appointment in January.
