NEWLY ELECTED EU SPECIAL REPRESENTATIVE TO SOUTH CAUCASUS TO PAY COGNITIVE VISIT TO ARMENIA ON APRIL 5-7

YEREVAN, APRIL 4, NOYAN TAPAN – ARMENIANS TODAY. Ambassador Piter
Semneby, newly elected EU Special Representative to the South Caucasus,
will be in Armenia on a cognitive visit on April 5-7. As Noyan Tapan
was informed from RA Foreign Ministry Press and Information Department,
during his stay in Armenia Semneby will meet with RA President Robert
Kocharian, Prime Minister Andranik Margarian, National Assembly
Speaker Artur Baghdasarian, Foreign Minister Vartan Oskanian, Defence
Minister Serge Sargsian, Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II and
NKR Foreign Minister Georgi Petrosian. Ambassador Semneby is also to
meet with heads of a number of diplomatic representations accredited
in Armenia. Semneby’s meeting with RA Foreign Minister Vartan Oskanian
will take place on April 5. Immediately after the meeting the joint
press conference of Minister Oskanian and Ambassador Semneby will be
held at RA Foreign Ministry press hall.
