OMBUDSWOMAN OF AZERBAIJAN ATTENDS HUMAN RIGHTS MEETING IN AUSTRIA

Azerbaijani Commissioner for Human Rights Elmira Suleymanova attended
a Human Rights Defenders and National Human Rights Institutions:
Legislative, State and Non-State Aspects meeting of the Organization
for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) in Austrian capital,
Vienna.

E. Suleymanova addressed the meeting on the Armenia-Azerbaijan
conflict and spoke of the work done to protect and promote human
rights in Azerbaijan.

Ombudswoman said appropriate international structures should seek
establishment of an equitable peace in the region.

The Azerbaijani Ombudswoman also participated in the plenary session
of the European Ombudsman Institute in Innsbruck, where she made
statements on the Armenian genocide and terror against Azerbaijani
people.
