There is no need to sign a new memorandum to expand the coalition
formally, stated the representatives of the two political parties
remaining in the coalition, Hrair Karapetyan, ARF, and Galust
Sahakyan, Republican, May 26. Hrair Karapetyan said the ARF and the
Republican Party have expressed their willingness to cooperate with
all the forces, and it is important that these forces share the ideas
set down in the memorandum. In this case, according to Hrair
Karapetyan, it is not important which forces will take up the vacant
posts in the parliament.

This question has not been settled finally, and generally, Galust
Sahakyan thinks, the process has just begun, and it will become clear
later whether a new memorandum needs to be signed or not.

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
