GEORGIAN GOVERNMENT GOING TO INVEST $200 MILLION IN JAVAKHETI DEVELOPMENT

/PanARMENIAN.Net/ The Georgian government intends to invest some $200
million in the development of the Armenian-inhabited Samtskhe Javakheti
region of Georgia, Georgian Foreign Ministers Gela Bejuashvili said
at a joint news conference with Armenian FM Vartan Oskanian June
27. "The total amount of the investments both within the Millennium
Challenge Account and our own funds will make some $200 million," he
said. The Minister remarked that the Georgian party informed Armenian
counterparts on the intentions of the Georgian government in the region
and the reforms carried out in the country," reported Georgia Online.
