AMBASSADOR VAHE GABRIELIAN VISITS IRELAND AND SCOTLAND
DUBLIN, JULY 12, NOYAN TAPAN – ARMENIANS TODAY. On July 9, RA
Ambassador to Ireland Vahe Gabrielian took part in festive events in
Dublin dedicated to the national memory day of Irishmen perished in
wars, as well as when implementing UN peacekeeping missions. The
President, Prime Minister of Ireland, other state officials,
war veterans, ambassadors accredited in the country took part in
the event.
Conor Lenihan, Deputy Foreign Minister of Ireland, spoke at the
dinner held after the ceremony, who in his speech mentioned the
presence of the first ambassador of Armenia to Ireland.
According to RA Foreign Ministry Press Service, before it, on July
2-3, Ambassador Gabrielian had visited Glasgow (Scotland) to get
acquainted with one of the big cities of Britain.
