ARMENTEL WILL BE DIVIDED
The Russian company Sistema Holding and the international consortium
including the Indian VTEL Holdings and Knightsbridge Associates will
share 90 percent of shares of Armentel, reports the news agency ARKA,
adding that a famous Armenian businessman represents the consortium.
The source, who is aware of the transfer of shares, informed that the
fixed-line telephone network will be bought by the Russian company,
whereas the Indian-Armenian consortium will buy the mobile network.
