Presenter] The fires set by the Armenians to occupied [Azerbaijani]
territories are a serious incident and international organizations
must seriously deal with this issue, an official of the US embassy
in Baku, Jonathan Henick, has told journalists in Ganca. He said that
the embassy is keeping an eye on the issue.

[Jonathan Henick, public affairs officer of the US embassy in
Azerbaijan, captioned, shown speaking in Azerbaijani] This is a
very serious incident. We are watching it very closely. We hope that
these fires will be stopped very soon. But, of course, international
organizations may deal with this problem since this is a war-affected
region. We also have meetings and talks with them. Our main aim is
to stop the fires.

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
