ARKADY GHUKASYAN: NOTHING OUTSIDE THE OSCE MG FORMAT WILL BENEIT NK

Any format of negotiations over the settlement of the Karabakh issue
outside the frames of the OSCE Minsk Group will not benefit Nagorno
Karabakh, NKR President Arkady Ghukasyan told the journalists.

In his words, Azerbaijan’s latest activity outside the Minsk Group
is a recurrent attempt to divert the attention of the international
community. "Nagorno Karabakh is ready to hold negotiations with
Azerbaijan in any format. However, if we aspire for resolution of the
conflict, we should stay loyal to the OSCE Minsk Group format," NKR
President noted. Turning to the topic of the Azerbaijani territories
under NKR control, he advised the Azerbaijani side not to forget
that Armenian Shahumyan region and part of Martakert are still under
Azeri control.
