Human Rights – 96 headed by Ruben Torosyan issued a statement saying
the benevolent acts by Prosperous Armenia and People’s Party are
"illegal" at this phase and must be prevented. Human Rights -96 (HR)
applied to the respective state authority – ministry of justice – with
a suggestion to take measures against illegal benevolence launched by
Prosperous Armenia and People’s Party which HR-96 believes is against
the Law on Benevolence and the Law on Political Parties.
HR-96 leader Ruben Torosyan also sent letters to Gagik Tsarukyan and
Tigran Karapetyan asking to regulate their benevolent deeds within
the law.
