Armenian, Azeri defence ministers discuss cease-fire

Yerevan, 20 October: The Armenian and Azerbaijani defence ministers,
Serzh Sarkisyan and Safar Abiyev, met on the Idzhevan-Qazax part of
the Armenian-Azerbaijani border today, the press secretary of the
Armenian Defence Ministry, Col Seyran Shakhsuvaryan, has told Mediamax.

Shakhsuvaryan noted that the meeting was held at the initiative of the
personal representative of the OSCE chairman-in-office on the Nagornyy
Karabakh conflict, Andrzej Kasprzyk, in the context of measures aimed
at building confidence between the sides.

"During the meeting, the sides discussed the cease-fire regime,"
Shakhsuvaryan said.
