The Armenian and Azerbaijani representatives for Karabakh settlement
will convene in Paris on October 24, a French Foreign Ministry official
said on Friday.

Armenian Foreign Minister Vardan Oskanian, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister
Elmar Mamedyarov and representatives of Russia, France and the United
States that make up the OSCE Minsk Group will attend the meeting.

The previous meeting, which was bound to start a new round of the
Karabakh settlement negotiations, was held in Moscow on October 6.

This time the officials will discuss additional proposals of the
intermediaries, the official said.

French Foreign Minister Philippe Douste-Blazy will receive the
Azerbaijani minister the day before the meeting and the Armenian
minister – shortly before the negotiations.

The previous Karabakh settlement meeting in France was held this
February but yielded no results. It was held in the attendance of
Armenian President Robert Kocharian and Azerbaijani President Ilham
Aliyev.
