/PanARMENIAN.Net/ The outcomes of the election to the U.S Congress will
not change the U.S. policy towards Armenia, U.S. Charge d’Affaires
Anthony Godfrey told reporters on Wednesday. "I do not think that
the policy will change after the election," he said.

At the same time Mr Godfrey said changes are expected in the
U.S. policy on Iraq, since it was the key factor during the election
campaign.

The year-off election was held in the United States November 7. All
435 members of House, 33 Senate members and Governors of 36 States
were elected.

According to preliminary data, the democrats are likely to win majority
in the House of Representatives, reports newsarmenia.ru.

Emil Lazarian: “I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
