Armenian Pres. to participate in CIS presidential summit in Minsk

ARMENIAN PRESIDENT TO PARTICIPATE IN CIS PRESIDENTIAL SUMMIT IN MINSK

YEREVAN, November 30. /ARKA/. Armenian President Robert Kocharian
will leave for the capital of Belarus Tuesday to participate in the
CIS presidential summit, the press service of the Armenian president
reported.
The primary issue of the agenda will be discussion about raising the
CIS’ efficiency and perspectives of its development. Opinions around
the issues of cooperation in the humanitarian and economic sectors,
as well as the combat against illegal migration will also be
exchanged. Over 10 documents expanding the contractual and legal
basis of the CIS countries’ cooperation will be signed at the
sitting.
The press service of the Armenian president previously reported that
Kocharian will meet with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliev. They
discussed the current negotiation process on the Karabakh conflict.
The agreement on this meeting was reached during the regional visit
of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs in Yerevan and Baku on November
