THE "DEED" OF THE POLICEMEN

On December 5 on Moskovyan street the policemen of the central
department of the police caught Vazgen Sh. (b. 1985) who had grabbed
Lia B.’s handbag and ran away.
Preliminary investigation is underway.
This is the official statement made by the police. But the police
do not say that this method of robbery has become rather popular in
Yerevan; it is dangerous to walk along a street with a handbag as
such cases happen almost every day in different parts of the city. And
this testifies to the poor work of the police.
