AVERAGE MONTHLY DUST DENSITY EXCEEDS PERMISSIBLE NORM 3 TIMES IN OCTOBER IN ARARAT REGION

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 21, NOYAN TAPAN. Air basin was observed in
cities of Yerevan, Gyumri, Vanadzor, Hrazdan, Alaverdi and Ararat in
October. According to the data of RA National Statistical Service, the
density of atmosphere contaminants was determined by 3203 samples of
air taken in the above mentioned populated areas. So, average monthly
dust density in Yerevan exceeded the norm 2.5 times, in Gyumri 2.1
times, in Hrazdan 2.2, in Alaverdi 1.2 and in Ararat 3 times.
