VOTING OF BILL "ON RA NATIONAL ANTHEM" POSTPONED

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 21, NOYAN TAPAN. The bill "On RA National Anthem"
discussed the previous day in second reading was not submitted for
voting at RA NA December 21 sitting. As NA Speaker Tigran Torosian
informed journalists, probably, the bill will be submitted for voting
at the December 22 morning sitting.

"I think we should indeed treat with responsibility the issue that
Armenia has no right to go to 2007 without an anthem," he said. The
parliament ap proved the 2007 activity program of the Control
Chamber. NA also adopted 8 bills and legislative packages discussed
the day before, including the bill "On Rates of Nature Protection
Payments" in third reading and completely and the bill on making
amendments to the law "On Nature Protection and Nature Use Payments."
