DECISION ON REVISION OF PRICES BY ECONOMIC ENTITIES POSTED ON SITE OF PUBLIC COMMISSION FOR PROTECTION OF ECONOMIC COMPETITION

YEREVAN. December 26. /ARKA/. The decision on revision of prices
by economic entities was posted on the official site of the Public
Commission for Protection of Economic Competition (PCPEC) of Armenia

PCPEC Press Secretary Armineh Udumyan reported that the decision was
posted on the site to make it available for economic entities.

Udumyan reminded that the five-day term, provided for economic
entities to revise prices, has expired today. However, the commission’s
administration continues monitoring in goods markets. At the same time,
the commission’s decision on prevention of consequences of ungrounded
price rise or price making as a result of anticompetition agreements
went into effect.

On December 19, the PCPEC made a decision, according to which 17 big
economic entities should have revised overpricing of their goods. The
commission also admonished all the economic entities of inadmissibility
of ungrounded price rise.
