TIGRAN TOROSIAN: I’D LIKE YEAR OF PIG TO HAVE NO BEARING ON OUR REALITY

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 28, NOYAN TAPAN. The RA National Assebly Speaker
Tigran Torosian on December 28 held a New Year reception for
the heads of mass media outlets and reporters accredited in the
parliament. Expressing his gratiute for cooperation, he expressed a
hope that the parliament will work better and reporters cover better
its activities in 2007. "The year of pig is now much spoken about, but
it has no bearing on our traditions, and I’d like it to have no bearing
on our reality, be it politics or relations of reporters and political
forces," he said, wishing reporters success, peace, happiness and love.
