MOUNTAINS OF GARBAGE COLLECTED AT COMMUNITIES AFTER NEW YEAR

The garbage collected in the community yards of Yerevan has become a
New Year "jewelry." Public officials promise to collect the garbage
during this week. "It snowed, it was freezing. We went out to clean
the snow and did not have time for garbage," Sergey Alexanyan, utility
department head of Nor Nork community, says. "You are right. Three
to four times more garbage is collected," he told Panorama.am.
Levon Mnatsakanyan, utilities department chief specialist of the
municipality, said 150 cars are used for garbage collection these
days. He also promised to clean the communities soon.
