"Conferences are good but it is concerning that especially the
sponsors try to convince the Armenian people that in case of opening
the borders they will live better, so they suggest to make pressures
on the authorities that they go for concessions with Turkey," Kiro
Manoyan, Head of the Armenian Cause Office, said.
He said no one openly delivered that message but it was remarked in
one of the conversations by USAID representatives.
Manoyan was also upset about a document which appeared at the end of
the conference and was developed by U.S. interior security ministry
employee. He said no such document was planned.
