Stallone To Direct Movie About Armenian Genocide
Actor comes to blows with those who deny genocide…
Sylvester Stallone is allegedly planning to direct a film adaptation
of controversial book `The Forty Days Of Musa Dagh’. The book
describes the Turkish massacre of Armenians in 1915.
Written by Austrian Franz Werfel, the book has come under criticism
in Turkey as the genocide is vehemently denied by the Turks.
And the Association On Struggle Against Armenian Genocide
Acknowledgement is urging Stallone not to make the film.
The chairman of the organisation claims that, `the book is full of
lies, since the author got his information from nationalist and
radical Armenians’.
Stallone retorted by stating that, `the film would be an epic about
the complete destruction of a civilsation’.
It is not yet known whether the film will be produced yet.
