ANKARA, FEBRUARY 6, NOYAN TAPAN – ARMENIANS TODAY. Israeli Prime
Minister Ihud Olmert will pay his first official visit to Ankara
on February 15, where he will meet with his Turkish counterpart
Recep Tayyip Erdogan. The sides will discuss issues relating to
Palestine-Israeli conflict and issues relating to the region.
According to the Hurriyet Turkish daily, Olmert will discuss the
issue of murder of Agos newspaper’s editor-in-chief Hrant Dink with
Erdogan, as well as will express his support to Ankara in the issue
of improving its relations with Armenia.
