BY LEVEL OF SOCIAL INEQUALITY, ARMENIA TAKES THE LAST PLACE AMONG POST-SOVIET COUNTRIES
Yerevan, February 12. ArmInfo. By the level of social inequality,
Armenia takes the last, 15th place among the former USSR countries,
the data of investigations, carried out by the "Renaissance-Capital "
Russian Consulting Company, which has published the rating of economic
situation of post-Soviet states for 2000-2006, say.
According to the source, Armenia has taken the 11th place by the
poverty level. The level of unemployment and the labor migration
is very high – the 13th place. At the same time, the Republic has
taken the 3rd place by GDP growth and the 4th place by the level
of inflation.
