EXHIBITION OF TENI VARDANIAN’S PICTURES OPENS IN CAIRO

CAIRO, FEBRUARY 15, NOYAN TAPAN – ARMENIANS TODAY. The exhibition
of Armenian artist Teni Vardanian’s pictures dedicated to the 15th
anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between Armenia
and Egypt opened at the exhibitions hall of the Ahmad Shauki Museum
in Cairo.

The best works of the artist, including those paintings presented in
January at the Cairo 10th international biennial which were awarded
"Golden Medal" by the awarding committee of the Ministry of Culture
of the Arab Republic of Egypt, are presented at the exhibition opened
on February 13 on the initiative of the RA Embassy to Egypt.

As Noyan Tapan was informed by the RA Foreign Ministry’s Press and
Information Department, foreign Ambassadors accredited in Egypt, art
sphere figures as well as representatives of the Armenian community
were present at the official opening ceremony of the exhibition.

The exhibition will be open till February 17.
