YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 15, NOYAN TAPAN. The monthly average pay wage of
pedagogues of comprehensive institutions according to the RA 2007
state budget, taken account in equivalent to complete amount of
work, rose 27%, reaching 74 thousand drams. As it is mentioned in the
information-explanation submitted to Noyan Tapan by the Press Service
of the RA Ministry of Education and Science (during the recent days the
Ministry got numerous oral protests on that occasion), that rise is
implemented only in the case of existence of a number of conditions:
teacher’s account of work, middle desity of classes, pupil-teacher
correlation. According to the message, those conditions are different
in schools of different marzes as well as in separate schools of
the communities of Yerevan because of what different possibilities
for financing, including ones for rise in wages, are created. "It is
necessary to notice that all the additional payments being given to
pedagogues are involved in the middle monthly salary. Those payments
are: form master’s activity at the size of 20% of a pedagogue’s rate
of pay, checking of copy-books at the size of 10% of a pedagogue’s
rate of pay, chairman of the methodological union at the size of 10%
of a pedagogue’s rate of pay," is said in the message. 2007 total
expenses of comprehensive institutions are formed according to the
joint decree of the RA Ministers of Finance and Economy and Education
and Science "On Coefficient of Formula of Financing in 2007 According
to Number of Pupils." 27% rise in wage of pedagogues and administrative
workers and 9.18% rise in wage of educational-auxiliary workers is
also involved in the decree.
