ANTI CRIMINAL SAYS AUTHORITIES WANT TO STOP UNIFICATION OF OPPOSITION

Today the regular session of Anti-Criminal Movement took place
dedicated to the topic of Criminal and Elections. Several leaders of
opposition took part in the meeting.

Aram Karapetyan, leader of New Times Party, made a speech. He raised
the question if the `changes in the military pave the way for the
support to Prosperous Armenia.’ `Two groupings are established in the
national security service, headed by Gorik Hakobyan and Hrachia
Haurtunyan,’ he said, raising the question in case of conflict between
them which party will be supported.

Karapetyan also said his sources say the authorities are negotiating
with some forces since January 22 in order not to halt the opposition
>From unification. He said there is an agreement with Viktor
Soghomonyan to raise the rating of seemingly two opposition forces.
