DETAILS OF MURDER AT RELAX DISCO-CLUB FOUND OUT

YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 20, NOYAN TAPAN. Details of Artash Otar
Hambardzumian’s and Mher Seryozha Poghosian’s murder taken place at
the Relax disco-club on February 15 were found out. The Press Service
of the RA Prosecutor’s General Office states about it. According
to the evidences got by the preliminary investigation, RA citizen
V.Gevorgian argued at about 03:45 of February 15 with M.Poghosian and
A.Hambardzumian in the Relax disco-club placed on the first floor of
the Citadel Business Center in the address of Terian str.105/1, the
city of Yerevan, the fuss arisen in the consequence of what was moved
to the part before the official entrance near the club Director’s
Office. During the dispute V.Gevorgian shot fires from the Viking
pistol of 9 mm calibre, with intent of murder, in ways dangerous for
many people’s life, in the direction of the head and chest, organs
of vital importance for M.Poghosian’s and A.Hambardzumian’s life
and illegal deprived them from life. After the case, V.Gevorgian
took to flight. Based on the got evidences, a decision was made on
February 17 to involve V.Gevorgian as a defendant and present him
accusation according to Article 104 Part 2 Points 1 and 6 of the RA
Criminal Code. Search was announced towards him on the same day. The
preliminary investigation is in process. To recap, it was mentioned in
the first official message spread on the occasion of the murder that
"as a result of measures taken operatively, they managed to find out
identity of the two people participated in the shooting."
According to the "Aravot" (morning) daily, which quoted its sources
at the Police, "identity of the two people participated in the murder
was quickly found out owing to video cameras placed in the disco-club,
which fixed the murder from the first moment up to the last one."
