ARMENIAN CINEMATOGRAPHERS WISH TO SHOOT A NEW FILM ON ARMENIAN GENOCIDE BY USING DOCUMENTS KEPT IN GERMAN ARCHIVES

YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 21, NOYAN TAPAN – ARMENIANS TODAY. A great number of
documents on Armenian Genocide are kept in German Foreign Ministry’s
archives.
Wolfgand Gust, the editor of Spigel well-known German magazine,
touched upon most of them in his works.
As Karine Ghazinian, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of
Armenia to Germany, reported at the February 21 press conference, a
group of Armenian cinematographers is in Germany in these days. This
group expressed willingness to use these documents in a new film on
Armenian Genocide. She said that the Embassy has already applied to
the German Foreign Ministry for receiving the respective permission.
