ARF BUREAU MEETS WITH PRESIDENT KOCHARIAN

YEREVAN (YERKIR) – Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF) Bureau
members met on February 26 with Armenian President Robert Kocharian,
who expressed his satisfaction with the cooperation with the ARF.
As reported by the ARF press service, the ARF members expressed
their satisfaction with the adoption of the dual citizenship law,
whichi is the result of the cooperation between the president and the
ARF. During the 1.5-hour-long meeting, the parties discussed issues
related to the Karabakh conflict settlement and cooperation in the
international arena. They also discussed the econimic situation in
the country and the upcoming parliamentary election. The parties
pointed to the need of holding free and fair polls.
The ARF delegation was headed by ARF Bureau representative Hrant
Margarian.
Bureau members Karo Armenian, Albert Achemian, Mario Nalbandian,
Vigen Baghumian and Vigen Hovsepian as well as Bureau’s Hay Dat and
Political Affairs office director Kiro Manoyan were in the delegation.
