The honored president of the Russian Academy of Political Studies
Mikhail Ilyin said at Yerevan Linguistic University after Valery
Bryusov when presenting the research project "Modern political atlas"
that a group of Russian political experts start collection of datum
for creation of the unrecognized states political atlas. Russian
experts are going to visit Nagornyy Karabakh, Dnister region, Iraqi
Kurdistan, North Cyprus and maybe Kosovo. They suppose that three
years are needed to create data-base.
Asked about application significance of such analysis from the point
of view of recognition of the unrecognized states, Ilyin replied that
this issue is not one of the tasks of the research group. "We shall
clarify how these states cooperate with each other, if statehood
exists at these territories, how institutions act. It is the task of
politicians to make some specific political offers," Ilyin thinks.
