Armenian Youth Foundation Announces 2007 Grant Solicitation Effort

WATERTOWN, MA – The Armenian Youth Foundation is please to announce
its 2007 grant solicitation effort. The Foundation’s Board of
Directors is encouraging all qualified organizations to obtain and
submit grant requests to the Grants Committee before the annual July
31st deadline. Grant recipients will be announced during the calendar
year’s fourth quarter.
The Armenian Youth Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit, tax-exempt
corporation formed to help support the programs of Armenian youth in
America. The grants are directed toward financing worthwhile projects
on a national and local basis for cultural activities, Armenian
education, athletic and camping programs.
With the enthusiastic support and endorsement of the Armenian
community, the Foundation’s Capital Fund surpassed the $500,000 mark
this year and has returned over $330,000 in total grants to worthwhile
Armenian – American youth projects during its thirty-three year
history.
