BAKU: Azerbaijani Officials Attend 10th Eurasian Economic Summit

AZERBAIJANI OFFICIALS ATTEND 10TH EURASIAN ECONOMIC SUMMIT

The 10th Eurasian Economic Summit started in the meeting salon of
Istanbul Chamber of Commerce today, APA’s Turkey bureau reports.

President of Marmara Group Akkan Suvver addressing the opening stressed
they established close relations with Eurasian countries in the past
10 years.

Suver stated Russian-Armenia-Iran pact is endeavored to be established
against Azerbaijan-Georgia-Turkey partnership. But Armenia’s monostate
policy broke up this initiative.

The event was attended by president of Association of Turkish
Industrialists and Businessmen (TUSIAD) Arzuhan Yalchindag, 9th
president of Turkey Suleiman Demirel, ex-president of Bulgaria Jelyu
Jelev, Turkish Energy Minister Hilmi Guler and State Minister Kurshat
Tuzman, former presidents of Romania Ion Iliescu and Constantinescu.

Azerbaijani President Office’s socio-political department’s chief
Ali Hasanov, industry and energy minister Natig Aliyev and the chief
of State Committee for Azerbaijanis Living Abroad Nazim Ibrahimov
represented Azerbaijani side in the 10th Eurasian Economic Summit.

The Marmara Group awarded Ali Hasanov, Azerbaijani former ambassador
to Turkey, now head of Azerbaijani diplomatic representation in Spain
Mammad Aliyev and Secretary General of the Summit Vagif Gasimov for
ten-year continuous participation in the summit.

The Summit will end on May 4.
